Your Cyber Insurance Application Is Asking More Questions Than It Used To.

Cyber insurance applications are getting more detailed, and simply saying your business has cybersecurity protection may not be enough.

Insurers increasingly want to know:

🔹Is multi-factor authentication (MFA) enforced?
🔹Are your endpoints protected and monitored?
🔹Are backups regularly tested?
🔹Do you have 24/7 security monitoring?
🔹Do employees receive cybersecurity awareness training?
🔹Are your security policies and incident response procedures documented?

And here's the important part: It's not just about checking "Yes" on an application. It's about knowing those protections are actually in place and working.

That's where a cybersecurity assessment can make a difference.

An assessment helps identify security gaps, evaluate existing protections, and prioritize improvements before those weaknesses become bigger problems.

Don't wait until your next cyber insurance renewal to find out where your security stands.

We can help you evaluate your cybersecurity readiness and build a stronger security strategy.

Your IT budget shouldn’t be a surprise.

As businesses start planning for 2027, technology deserves a seat at the budgeting table.

Aging hardware that will need to be replaced. Software and licensing renewals. Cybersecurity investments. Cloud services. New employees. Business growth. Maybe even a new location.

When those expenses aren’t planned for, they have a way of showing up at the worst possible time.

A proactive IT strategy helps you understand what’s coming, what should be prioritized, and what you should budget for before it becomes urgent.

Your technology needs will change as your business changes. Your IT budget should be ready for both.

What’s already on your technology roadmap for 2027?

October is a busy birthday month at Enitech!

This month, we’re celebrating Zaheer, Rainier, and Caleb!

We’re lucky to have each of them as part of Team Enitech, and we hope their birthdays include plenty of good food, a little time away from the ticket queue, and absolutely no one asking them to reboot anything. 😂

Please join us in wishing Zaheer, Rainier, and Caleb a very Happy Birthday! 🥳

Here’s to another trip around the sun and a great year ahead!

Cybersecurity isn't one product.

There isn't one piece of software you can install, one service you can turn on, or one box you can check that suddenly makes your business secure.

Strong cybersecurity is built in layers.

Your employees. Email. Identities and access. Endpoints. Your network. Your data. Backups. And continuous monitoring to identify and respond to threats.

Each layer helps protect the others, because if one control fails, another should be there to help reduce the risk.

That’s why cybersecurity should be approached as a strategy, not a product.

During Cybersecurity Awareness Month, it's a good time to ask:

How well are the layers protecting your business working together?

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month!

Cybersecurity technology has come a long way, but one thing hasn’t changed: protecting your business takes more than technology alone.

It also takes employees who know how to recognize phishing attempts, use strong authentication, protect sensitive information, and think twice before clicking, downloading, or sharing.

And with AI creating new opportunities for both businesses and cybercriminals, staying security-aware is more important than ever.

Cybersecurity works best when technology and people work together.

“When did your business last have an IT strategy meeting?”

A lot of companies talk to IT when they need something fixed, replaced, or added. But technology decisions should also be tied to what the business is planning next.

Hiring 20 people? Opening another location? Moving applications to the cloud? Adding AI? Changing compliance requirements? Planning next year's budget?

That’s where proactive IT planning and vCIO services become valuable.

IT shouldn't just support where your business is today. It should help prepare you for where you're going next.

Your company may be using more AI than you think.

Employees are adopting AI tools quickly. ChatGPT, Copilot, AI meeting assistants, browser extensions, writing tools, and countless other applications can make work faster and easier.

But what happens when employees start using AI tools that IT never approved or even knows about?

That’s Shadow AI.

The concern isn't simply that employees are using AI. It’s what may be happening with company information along the way.

An employee could paste customer data into an AI tool, upload an internal document for a quick summary, connect an AI app to company email, or authorize a browser extension without realizing where that information is going or how it may be stored.

And if IT doesn't know the tool is being used, it can't properly evaluate or manage the risk.

The goal shouldn't be to stop employees from using AI. It should be to give them safe, approved ways to use it.

That means knowing which tools are being used, establishing clear AI policies, protecting sensitive data, and educating employees about what should never be shared with an unapproved AI platform.

Do you know which AI tools your employees are using right now?
