Celebrating 30 years of - It Was Written. 🖊️💿

Released on July 2, 1996, this wasn’t just another hip-hop album—it helped define an era. From “The Message” and “Street Dreams” to “If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)” and “Affirmative Action,” every track showcased Nas’ storytelling, lyricism, and growth as an artist.

Debuting at No. 1 and becoming one of the most influential rap albums of the ’90s, It Was Written proved that lyrical excellence and commercial success could go hand in hand. Thirty years later, it still sounds as powerful and relevant as ever.

Happy 30th anniversary to a true classic. 🎧📀

New vinyl day! 🔥

Just got my copy of Crybaby and I couldn’t be more excited to add it to the collection. Vince has been one of my favorite artists for years, consistently delivering music that’s authentic, creative, and ahead of its time.

I’ll always stand by Summertime ’06 as a certified classic along with hell can wait. That album helped define an era and still sounds just as powerful today. From then until now, Vince continues to evolve while staying true to himself.

Can’t wait to spin this one all weekend. 🎶💿

Celebrating one of my favorite artist today — ScHoolboy Q and his album CrasH Talk on a seven year anniversary 🎧

This project hit different… raw, reflective, and still full of that signature Q energy. From the storytelling to the production, CrasH Talk showed growth, pain, and evolution all in one.

Tracks like “Numb Numb Juice” and “CrasH” still go crazy 🔥 but honestly, this album feels slept on in his catalog. It doesn’t always get the credit it deserves, but the depth and replay value are real.

What’s your favorite track off CrasH Talk? 👇
