So, 20 years ago we started Allora Consulting LLC ( https://www.facebook.com/alloraconsulting ) with Luke Smith and David Marion :)) essentially transforming NetPhoenix by John into a new route.

10 years ago we celebrated our first big anniversary with clients and friends at Babylon ( Samad Hachby's place). Things were going great. New calls, new customers, new projects.

As of 2023, it's a rather sad anniversary. So many clients perished in bankruptcies, or selling out at best :( all non-profits got wiped out.

I'd be surprised if Allora would reach 30 given the current state of things but I'd do my part being a stubborn Soviet pioneer... err, American entrepreneur ))

If you still have to rely on Windows 7 and/or Server 2008 then security is a big concern by now because there were at least 4 serious security vulnerabilities discovered since Microsoft cut tech-support for general audience in January,2020.

There are two options:

a) Upgrade to a modern OS (Windows 10 / Server 2019 or 2016)
b) Acquiring a rather expensive service from Microsoft called "Extended Security Updates" which can prolong running obsolete Operating Systems with security holes timely patched.
