Scott Lucas Solutions Systems. Structure. Simplicity. I work with established home service companies to eliminate preventable revenue risk inside their systems. DNS. Ownership gaps.

Helping overwhelmed business owners simplify operations, organize systems, reduce tech chaos, and eliminate hidden bottlenecks that drain time, energy, and revenue behind the scenes. Most owners think revenue problems start with marketing. In reality, revenue stalls when infrastructure fails: Login access. Email deliverability. Duct-taped tech. I identify and fix the weak points before they turn into expensive downtime. If you run a growing service company and want your revenue to depend on structure, not luck, message me.

AI-generated graphics aren't necessarily the problem. Sometimes it's simply that people don't know how to use AI properly.

I've noticed quite a bit of criticism about AI-generated flyers looking the same, having mistakes, or just looking obviously AI-generated.

And I get it. Some of them look terrible.

But if you're asking ChatGPT to create something without explaining what you want, what you DON'T want, or what you're trying to accomplish, you're leaving a lot of decisions up to the tool.

I create the majority of my graphics using ChatGPT, and one thing I regularly tell it is to make something that looks like I designed it myself in Canva.

Sometimes it nails it, other times we make adjustments yet I always check the finished product.

There's absolutely value in hiring a professional designer, but there's also nothing wrong with learning how to use these tools yourself.

And quite honestly, I see this same problem with websites, automations, and business systems. People have the tools, but they're not always getting the results they expected.

Sometimes all it takes is better direction. Other times, it takes somebody with experience to spot what you're overlooking.

I've shared an example prompt in the first comment so you can try it yourself.

And if you're wondering what else might be getting overlooked in your business, that's exactly why I offer my Focused Business Review.

Sometimes a second set of human eyes can make all the difference.

Who do you call when your business has a technology problem you can’t sort out? 📲

Let’s help people get acquainted with the local businesses that provide support.

RSBA members who offer IT support, cybersecurity, data backup, or account security services: introduce your business in the comments.

Tell us who you help and give one example of a problem you handle. If you’re looking for help, describe what you need in general terms.

If a local business has helped you, tag their page and share what they helped with.

Making these connections is part of what RSBA membership is for.

Helping people learn what your business does and when to call you.

The RSBA choice is in the first comments so whose yours? 👇

A client sent me this after I reviewed two of her online stores.

What stands out to me isn’t that she liked the review. It’s what happened because of it.

She had already put time and money into a Shopify store that wasn’t doing what she wanted it to do. I looked at what she had going on, where the friction was, where the money and effort were going, what could be improved, and what probably wasn’t worth chasing.

She shut the store down that day.

Not because I told her she failed. Because after looking at the whole thing, the better decision was to stop pouring more time and money into something she didn’t really want to keep forcing.

That’s the point of my $97 Focused Business Review.

Sometimes you don’t need more ideas, more software, another AI prompt, or another person trying to sell you a bigger project.

Sometimes you need somebody outside of the problem to look at it and tell you what they actually see.

If you’ve got one business problem, tech decision, website issue, system, offer, or online business question you’ve been staring at too long, comment REVIEW and I’ll send you the link privately.

If all you need is a simple website to get visibility and collect information, you can build one with Google Sites, ChatGPT Pro, or Claude Pro.

No automations, workflows, integrations, or bells and whistles required.

We have too much technology now, from CRMs to workflows and automations, for a business to still surprise people with a charge on their card. If you sell anything recurring, there is no real reason you can't send a heads up before the renewal hits. Seven days out, three days out, whatever makes sense for your customer. That's not advanced, that's a trigger and an email.

And I get it, customers have some responsibility here too. If you sign up for a subscription, you should know it's recurring and keep track of it. I'm not letting anyone off the hook for that... including myself, lol.

However, you're the one who built the fulfillment system. You're the one who knows exactly when that charge is coming. So if your customer gets blindsided and asks for a refund, that's not just them forgetting, that's your system failing to do the one thing it was built to do.

Here's the part nobody wants to talk about... that reminder isn't just a courtesy, it's money. It cuts down refund requests before they happen, and it gives you a clean, honest moment to mention an upgrade or another product, right when they're already thinking about what they're paying for.

Everybody loves to talk about how much they're making. Almost nobody talks about what they're quietly losing because a simple reminder never got built.

You don't need new software for this. You need to actually use what you've already got.

This is the kind of thing I look for when I clean up someone's backend. Not the flashy stuff, the quiet leaks.

One of the most overlooked parts of business operations is how the owner behaves online.

Your social media activity, private messages, public comments, and response to criticism all affect your reputation.

One emotional response can turn a minor issue into a public problem that customers, partners, and the local community can see.

Business owners often think operations only means systems, software, automation, and processes.

It also means knowing when not to respond.

It means verifying facts before assigning intent.

It means not arguing with potential customers in community groups.

It means not sending messages while angry.

It means having someone in your corner who can look at the situation objectively before you create more damage than the original issue ever could.

That is part of the work I do beyond AI.

I help business owners think through their technology, systems, communication, public-facing decisions, and the situations where emotion can interfere with good judgment.

If you know you tend to react first and think later, you may not need another marketing tactic.

You may need someone who can stop you before you turn a small problem into an operational and reputation problem.

It’s always sad to see a business owner, especially one who is local, who spends more time creating “hater” content than content to sell their products and services.

That is the quickest way to ruin your rep, lose customers and eventually close your doors.

Get your priorities straight owners.
