⚠️ Quick Tech Tip

There’s been a rise in fake email and text scams pretending to be from companies like banks, Amazon, or even delivery services.

These messages often look very real and may say things like:
• “Your package is delayed”
• “Unusual login attempt detected”
• “Verify your account now”

Simple rule:
If something feels off, don’t click the link — go directly to the company’s website instead.

If you’re ever unsure, it’s always better to double check before clicking.

Scammers use email or text messages to trick you into giving them your personal and financial information. But there are several ways to protect yourself.

🚨 Business Security Alert

Cybersecurity experts are warning that ransomware attacks are increasingly targeting small and mid-sized businesses, not just large corporations.

Many of these attacks start with something simple like:
• A phishing email
• A weak password
• Outdated software

Once inside, attackers can lock your entire system and demand payment.

⚠️ Tech News / Privacy Alert

Microsoft is once again facing concerns over its “Recall” feature in Windows, which takes snapshots of your screen to help you search past activity.

A security researcher has shown that even with protections in place, it may still be possible to access sensitive data like emails, messages, and browsing history through certain system processes.

What this means:
Even built-in features designed to help users can introduce new security risks.

If you’re unsure about your system’s privacy settings or security, it’s always a good idea to have things checked out.

🚨 Tech News Alert

Cybersecurity experts are warning about a new trend — hackers are now using AI tools to carry out massive cyberattacks.

In one recent case, attackers used AI to help steal hundreds of millions of personal records from government systems.

This is a big shift because it means smaller groups of hackers can now do damage that used to require large organizations.

Please beware!!!! There is a new scam that has just started where "Microsoft" is calling you to let you know that there is someone trying to access your account and wants to know if it is you. This call is done by an automated system not a real person. It will ask you to press 1 if you are not the one trying to access your account and 0 if you are accessing the account. No matter what you answer (yes or no) they will send you a verification code to your phone through a text message and want you to give them that code. DO NOT GIVE THEM THAT CODE!!!!!. They are not Microsoft what so ever. The code that is sent you through the text message is a real valid code from the real Microsoft. They are trying to get you to give them that code to take over your account. It is very clever and deceitful. Please share this to your friends and family. Do not become a victim to these animals! REMEMBER Microsoft will never call you for anything what so ever! A word of advise as well. If you do receive this phone call I would suggest to change your password. Rule of thumb when creating a new password. Twelve characters long with at least one capital letter, one lowercase, one number, and one special character. (!@ #$%^&*_+~) Are just some examples.

The amount of computing power that this chip can do is crazy. Microsoft created a new type of matter just for this chip. This as well as what Google has done with their quantum computer chip is going to revolutionize the world in ways that people cannot even possibly imagine. The future in almost every way that anyone can think of is going to change so rapidly and dramatically. The world will not even be recognizable in 10 to 15 years. It is both scary and exciting at the same time.
