AI Can Create Amazing Images… But That Doesn't Always Mean They're Ready to Print.
We asked Chat GPT to explain why in a chart.
AI has made it easier than ever to create eye-catching graphics, logos, and artwork. But if you're planning to print a flyer, banner, sign, or brochure, there's one important thing to know:
An image that looks great on your screen may not look great when it's printed.
Many AI-generated images are created for digital viewing and may have:
🖨️ Resolution that's too low for large-format printing
🎨 Colors that don't reproduce accurately in print
📐 Missing bleed or incorrect sizing
🔍 Blurry or distorted details when enlarged
🔤 Text that's part of the image instead of editable—and often uses AI-generated "fonts" that don't actually exist, making them impossible to reproduce or edit accurately
That doesn't mean AI isn't incredibly useful. In fact, it's one of the best tools available for quickly turning an idea into a visual concept. Sharing an AI-generated image with your graphic designer is a great way to communicate your vision, style, colors, and overall direction, helping them create a professionally designed, print-ready file.
At Minuteman Press Queen Creek, we can review your AI-generated artwork, identify potential issues, and prepare it for professional printing. Whether that means improving the file, recreating the artwork as a high-resolution graphic, or rebuilding text and design elements, we'll make sure your finished piece looks as good in print as it does in your imagination.
AI is an incredible source of inspiration. Our job is to turn that inspiration into high-quality printed materials that get results.
