Exciting news! We’ve had great success with our workforce development courses and decided to expand into a business sector we work with quite frequently… the fire world! Many of you asked for fire-specific classes and we’re here for it! We’ve brought on a new instructor who brings lots of fantastic fire experience with rural, volunteer, municipal, state, and federal resources.

Our instructors work with local fire departments to help build basic skills such as ordering interagency resources, building fire line, safe equipment use, radio communication, authoring prescribed fire plans, urban interface planning, dispatch operations, flight strips, technology planning, workforce studies, and so much more!

Please pass this along to any fire department or agency! As always, thanks for all your support!

Hi all! Pueblo Regional Center (Pueblo West) is hosting a Trunk or Treat tomorrow, Friday, October 28th from 1-4 pm. The event is sensory friendly, allergy friendly, metabolic friendly, and special needs friendly.

They will have the following there:

-2 bounce houses
-face painting
-water beads
-speakers (for music that will not be too loud)
-trunk or treat vehicles (with allergy friendly treat & trinkets, and sugar free candy for anyone who can not have sugar)
-Pueblo West Fire Department
-1 food truck and 1 icee truck (setup in a separate area to respect those who may have allergies)
