If you’re looking for a “magic button” that handles every task perfectly without oversight, you’re looking for a system that doesn’t actually exist.
Real-world AI implementation is about governance.
It’s about building systems that know when they have permission to act, when they don’t, and when a decision needs to go back to a human.
We spend a lot of time talking about what AI can do.
I think we need to spend considerably more time designing what it cannot do.
That “no” isn’t a limitation we reluctantly tolerate. It’s part of what makes an AI system trustworthy enough to use in the first place.
