Honest question for my fellow writers — how many apps are you currently using to keep your story together?
I was juggling Google Docs for manuscripts, Notion for world-building, spreadsheets for plot tracking, and a physical notebook that kept disappearing into the couch cushions. It was a mess.
So I built something.
Chronicler's Codex is an all-in-one workspace for writers who worldbuild. One place for your codex of characters, locations, factions, and lore. Five different ways to outline your plot — including a corkboard, a subplot grid inspired by how Rowling plotted Harry Potter, and a story arc graph so you can actually see your pacing. A manuscript editor with your entire world searchable right next to your prose. And if you're writing a series, tools to track every plotline and character arc across all your books.
It's in beta right now and I'm inviting writers in waves.
If you've ever wished all your world-building and writing lived in one place — I'd love for you to try it and tell me what you think.
