🌐 Important Update: NEC is Phasing Out On-Premise Systems – Let’s Talk Next Steps!
We’re reaching out to let you know that NEC America has officially transitioned Dealer Equipment sales and Dealer support for all North America based on-premise business phone systems to a third party . This includes the UNIVERGE SV9100, SV9500, 3C, and SL2011 platforms. Software Support for those customers with current Software Assurance (SWA) will continue through 2030, but NEC is gradually exiting this space entirely.
If your system is older than the SV9100 platform then any support for those systems been discontinued for almost 10 years and parts are available as used or refurbished only.
What this means for you: There’s no immediate action required, and PNT can continue to support your system for now but even though we are an NEC Authorized Dealer finding equipment for your current system is becoming increasingly difficult. That said, this is the perfect time to start exploring future-ready options before it becomes urgent.
