Vote early!

Get your ballots in before November 3. Historic early voting turnout is already happening - be part of it πŸ—³β€οΈ

Every election is important. We believe democracy works best when we all participate. Please take some time to exercise your right to vote. It is even more critical this year as our fundamental right to vote and ballot access is directly under attack by the current administration.

Visit your local Secretary of State office or vote.org to make sure you are registered to vote or to find the nearest ballot drop site to you. You can check vote.org for details across the country.

NOTE: 🚫 DO NOT USE "votesafe.org" β€” this is a website created and funded by Elon Musk's America PAC. It does not provide voting information, but rather is a method of acquiring your digital information. According to the website's privacy policy it may collect and share users' personal information. The most accurate information will be found at your local Secretary of State's office.

Tonight VOLUMES Design Library x Portland Design History present an exhibition featuring 100 years of Portland print design with a hands-on display of Portland design artifacts that spans decades.

Melissa Delzio, the force behind Portland Design History, has teamed up with Michael Ellsworth (co-founder of Civilization and VOLUMES) and Quinn Richards (designer and clown...yes, clown) to create this historical show.

The complete catalog of Plazm magazine, along with lots of other Plazm posters and ephemera, are included. Essential artifacts from the design and media history of Portland are at last gathered in one place, with context.

If you've been in Portland or following its design and art worlds for decades you can expect good memories and perhaps some surprises. New to Portland but lack context for its history?

This is a great chance to see issues of Clinton Street Quarterly, Mississippi Mud, Just Out, Willamette Bridge, and many other amazing print publications. The exhibit will showcase visual culture across graphic design, advertising, architecture and more.

Enjoying some Spruce Budd on the Clackamas River over the holiday weekend ... There is still some of this beautiful b**r to be found around the Pacific Northwest. Each spring for a limited time you can get Spruce Budd from Fort George Brewery 🌲🍻 It's a b**r with wild, hand-picked spruce tips. And no hops.

Ink + salvaged spruce trees were used by our pal Paul Keating to make the spruce print design found on these cans.

3-Way IPA

It must be almost summer. Each year around this time β€” at least each year for the last fourteen years β€” Fort George Brewery has released a new edition of their amazing three way collaboration series. Three breweries get together to make the best IPA they can! Our friend & longtime collaborator .long_β €has drawn every can. This year we went bold and simple using fluorescent inks and thick lines. 🍻🍻🍻

The latest 3-Way IPA launches this weekend in Astoria. Peek at the Fort George website or Instagram for details. If you are lucky enough to live in Oregon, you can get the b**r shipped directly to your door.

For the full history of 3-Way IPA check out this page on the Fort George website: www.fortgeorgebrewery.com/3-way
