One of SW Portland's best-kept secrets, with its cobblestone patio, vintage decor, and lots of hidey holes in which to hide out and sip your coffee or tea. The breakfast sandwiches and burritos are delicious, with their haus-cooked corned beef, ham, avocado, or Morningstar breakfast sausage. If you live in Portland and haven't visited yet, you should put a stop here on your to-do list.

Have you ever wondered about our decor? Let me give you brief explanation of the front room which will help explain some of our drink specials of the week.

🪿We were named in honor of Sigrid Fehrenbacher Clark.
🇩🇪 Fehrenbacher is also an area in Germany where Sigrid was from, hence the German inspiration.
🎶 She played for The Oregon Symphony, that is her portrait and her violin is hanging above it (not pictured).
🤎 She used to own an antique store (now Goose Hollow Flowers) called Mother Goose Antiques. That is where many of our decore pieces are from.
🧸 According one of her kids she also wanted to own a toy museum and that is why we have an assortment of antique toys.

Fun fact about one of our antiques: the middle photo is of a Löffelblech which date back to the early 1900s. They were placed around the stove for your cooking utensils to hang on. The text "Trautes Heim ist Glück allein" translates to "A cozy home is happiness alone"
