As we are all hunkering down to ride out the next few weeks, I find myself thinking a lot about all of you and hoping that everyone is well and safe.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had such an impact on our daily lives. Our kids are trying to keep up with school work from home, many of us are trying to work remotely for the near future, and we are trying to keep up with friends and loved ones through social media. You need your computers to work!
Knowing this, I want to assure you that Computer Port, is ready to help you if you need it. While its not exactly business as usual, I am available by appointment to take computers or mobile devices in for repair. I can also offer phone support and potentially access your computer remotely.
I hope you will understand that for everyone’s safety and to comply with the advice of medical experts, I will not be making house calls or maintaining regular business hours for now; so if you need something, just call the store and I will be there for you.

I received this in my email today and i do a lot of transactions on Amazon. the email brings you to a sign in page. So I put in a fake password then it brings me to a website and asks for all my billing info, looks totally legit!
I fill it out with every wrong info plus a few embedded curse words. Be very careful they're very crafty the "s" in informations tiped me off! Don't be a victim!

Tuesday night's thunderstorm and brown outs caused a lot of damage to PC's and other electronic devices. Now is a good time to get a good backup and a new Surge Protector for the next storms. Just saying!

Dust is a killer! Clogs the air flow so your PC can overheat causing slow performance and heat damage to the internal doo-dads. (technical terminology) A leaf blower, compressor or the expensive canned air will do the job! Just remember to turn the computer off! (very important)
