Do you know who you are marketing to? What problem are you solving for the targeted traffic? Where will the income of your business come from? What is the size of your market? Do you have a break even plan? What is your plan of Action? What is your start up budget?

Two days ago was the Week 1 - Quick Start Challenge 2.0 Turbo, Webinar. Dean Holland did an excellent job motivating. He is astonishingly honest and gets his points across clearly. I've listened to other webinars where there is too much rambling. One irritated me so much I yelled at the computer, 2 speakers and their presentation was full of interruptions by each other.

Dean outlined the course explaining what each week will entail. One of the most important things I believe he got across was mindset. You know the.... Yes! I am going to do this. He pointed out solutions for making time to work on this challenge and yes there is work involved.

Thank goodness it was interesting because it was long, but I am not complaining as he scheduled these webinars perfect for people in the USA. At the end (3 hours) I had to laugh a bit because I heard Dean getting a little giddy after all he was in the UK and it was very late there.

He gave us all a project to complete and that was to create a blog. This is mine for anyone that is thinking about starting internet marketing I would hope that you follow my experience that I am sharing honestly.

Oh btw I love his accent. I must ask him if he is from New Zealand originally or is that accent really British. I have never left North America so I am no accent expert but I have 1 friend from UK and another from NZ. He sounds more like my friend from NZ is all.

Dang, I was going to make this short but I did want to give my opinion of the first webinar that is now a video. Final conclusion is I am very happy with content and presentation, Dean did a very professional job. I believe his goal was to get everyone hyped and ready to have at it. I am hyped and ready to have at it.

Start Your Own Website

You will need web hosting and a domain name. There are many web hosts companies to choose from and a webhosting review site is the first place I suggest to check and compare the top companies. This will help with the decision of what company to go with. I found this one site –http://www.web-hosting-sites-review.com that not only reviews the sites but have negotiated the best prices. The lowest prices that I have found on the internet for the best hosting companies. The hosts are rated according to customer comments which is fantastic.

Price is always the first consideration when choosing your hosting company but it shouldn’t be. Without good support your site could be down for a long time so service is far more important. And who would be the best judge of support? The people using the hosting of course!

What do they offer for their monthly fee? Many web hosts offer a free domain name and here is where I add some advice from my experience. If you know what you will be marketing then you will want to choose a domain name with your product name in it. That is if you are branding a product. If you are just starting off and have no idea what you will be selling then start a blog maybe with your name in it. It will be unique to you and you are more likely to get a dot-com. Just think if you become a leader in your area then you would already be working at branding your name.

The shorter the better not like mine, Whatisthebestwaytomakemoneyonline.us . Like I said on the home page learn from my screw-ups. Not only is it too long it is not a dot-com.

What are your goals?
I am in the latter stages of my work career and I must say I am fortunate to have a pension. But that pension after 30 years will be just a little less than half my current salary so if I want to retire I will need some additional income. My first goal is to be able to retire with at least what I make working. Please note this is my first goal. My motivation is I cannot retire until I reach this goal. My next goal is to be able to travel after I am retired which double my first goal sounds reasonable to me.

To succeed in anything in this world you have to be motivated. “Failing Forward” one very profitable Internet Marketer wrote. Learning from your mistakes and moving forward, what a great thought! I’ve made plenty of mistakes and I am moving forward. Thank you, Dean for that inspiration.
