How to get your FB ad account shut down...

Step #1: Create an ad with an image sure to get attention, but not really related to your offer or copy.

Step #2: Make a promise in the ad about something you'll receive on the landing page (even tell them no opt-in required).

Step #3: Show them a video instead that talks about how cool the thing you were going to show them is and tell them they have to opt-in to see the thing.

Step #4: Once they opt-in send them to a video sales pages with a 7 minute video that vaguely discusses that thing you were going to show them and tell them if they buy your product for $10 they'll learn how to do it step by step.

Step #5: After they buy make sure you upsell them on something else and force them to not be able to see the product they just bought until they see all of your upsells.

Can you count how many lies this advertiser made?

P.S. The inspiration behind this post is from an ad I saw today from a guy doing exactly this. Guess what his product was about... Yep, how to make more money with FB ads. Oh the irony! :P

Ever since I switched to this WP plugin I've had almost no spam comments.

Maybe a couple per week at most, but it used to be dozens. It used to be so many it was a pain in the ass to delete them all. Now, I forget that it's even a problem some people deal with. !

No spam in comments. No captcha.

That's what my mentor used to say. It's true, until you really know your critical metrics you're just a hobbyist posing as an entrepreneur.

Want proof? Try asking a seasoned business owner to invest in your business and watch what he/she says when you say "I don't know my cost per customer or lifetime customer value"

You'll be sent packing... As you should be.

If you're really taking your business seriously...

If you take YOURSELF seriously...

You would track these fundamental critical business metrics. Or... Are you content with knowing you're just a hobbyist?
