RECALL Battery Fire

The NVIDA Shield is being recalled for a battery fire. You can apply for a replacement by doing the following.

1. Assure that your tablet is updated.. Tap the Apps icon >> Select the Settings icon >> About tablet >> System Updates. If your system has an update from July 1, 2015 or after, then you are able to see if you are affected.

2. Select the Apps icon >> Settings >> About tablet >> then select Status. You will be able to see your battery category of either B01 or Y01. If you see Y01 then you need to apply for a replacement tablet by visiting http://tabletrecall.expertproductinquiry.com/registration/registration

The debate is over!! On Monday, Malwarebytes reported a zero-day bug that allows hackers to take full control of your Mac. This bug affects OS X 10.10.4.

I have told my customers and students that the only reason that Macs appeared to be secure is because the usage of these devices did not make up a mass populous. Now that they are becoming more common, the hackers are able to profit from hacking them.
