WINDOWS... AN ABSOLUTE MIRACLE!
I hear today's young professionals complain about certain software programs that we've all come to depend on..... Not me... A computer saved me when I first started out as an independent consultant. I fulfilled a substantial pr management contract from my home ONLY because I had a computer. .... I tried managing the office with a typewriter ... that REALLY didn't work..... (I had been hired to replace the services of a California PR firm and the organization needed to be able to see me as working out of a capable office.).... It was before Windows..... Right now, I am in the middle of relearning how to use an online service... with the directions in one window, I am following the directions in another. THAT'S AMAZING!!! TO ME........ DOS was cumbersome. Not yet "user friendly"......... So, despite flaws in current software options, I am so thankful to all the great minds that have come together to give us today's operating systems.
