Erin was the closest guess in our Tug Fest “Guess the Fiber Strands” game!

Her guess: 1,180 strands
The correct answer: 1,152 strands!

That’s pretty darn close! 👏

And here’s a fun fact: the piece of fiber we had on display actually came from the Rapids City–Port Byron main line!

Just like your TV, phone, or computer occasionally needs a restart, your internet equipment does too.

If you're experiencing slow speeds or connection issues, try a full power reset:

✅ Unplug both your modem and router
⏱️ Leave them unplugged for 2 full minutes
🔌 Plug them back in
⏳ Allow 5 minutes for everything to fully reconnect

Many common internet issues can be resolved with this quick reset!
