To kickoff on today, we want to recognize the five unique and beautiful destinations of listed on the National Park registry. Learn all about the National Parks and let us know which you’ve been to and which you plan to travel to next.
Isle Royale National Park - A remote island only accessible by ferry, seaplane, or private watercraft, offers visitors a truly rugged experience exploring untouched wilderness.
Keweenaw National Historical Park - The fascinating seven thousand year history of copper can be found here, from the earliest known tools of North America to the mining and trading that helped define the early development of the U.S.
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore - America’s first national lakeshore, this destination is nature for the entire family, with trails, beaches and skiing, it’s a year-round outdoor enthusiasts playground.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore - The famous sand dunes with bluffs that tower 450 feet above Lake Michigan are worth the trip alone, but beyond that this family destination offers four seasons of adventure from museums to visit to cross country skiing.
River Raisin National Battlefield Park - Explore American history at the site of some of the most impactful battles of the War of 1812. Learn how the Americans liberated Detroit and used the battle cry “Remember the Raisin” to inspire victory.
