Ever take journey to someplace you didn't expect, but end up exactly where you needed to be? The founders of Road Behavior Lab came to us with some logo sketches from ChatGPT in a safe, blue color palette. That's not what they left with. As a new non-profit research and intervention platform that would be spending a lot of time talking to suits in Insurance Companies, they asked for something "Modern, Nimble, Accelerated, Ahead of the Curve, and Bold" so they would remembered as innovative. How'd we do? 😁

Inspired by decision making processes and navigation, along with the colors of traffic lights, asphalt and safety cones; we create a robust logo family in a get-noticed color palette, that will serve as the foundation of the RBL identity as they establish themselves in their unique field of expertise.

Pivot with intention.

The company was still relatively young, but the Sorella leadership team realized who they started as and where their opportunity for growth landed had substantially shifted. The existing branding was insufficient and not well positioned for where they were going.

The team decided to pivot quickly and partnered with 3thought to guide them through it: evolved name, new tagline, new key messaging, expanded brand guidelines and visual assets that would adapt to any media.

The company now has a strong foundation on which to build their updated marketing and communications that aligns fully with who they are and who they are becoming.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our colleague and friend, Kerry.

Kerry played an important role in 3thought’s growth, helping us build relationships, make connections, and open doors with so many people and organizations over the years. We always said his job was to go out and make friends — and he did that better than anyone.

We will remember Kerry for his kindness, his positive spirit, the twinkle in his eye when he had a story to tell, and his genuine gift for making people feel welcome. He had a way of turning conversations into relationships, and relationships into community.

We are grateful to have known him and to have had him as part of the 3thought family. He will be missed.
