Last week, I had the opportunity to attend an AIBMM (AI Business Maturity Model) summit as a coach, working alongside approximately 50 business owners looking to strengthen their understanding and application of AI.

The discussions covered everything from understanding the differences between AI models and when to use them, to exploring practical applications like AI-powered quoting and estimating in manufacturing.

One of the most rewarding parts? Seeing how business owners are already incorporating AI into their operations and learning from their innovative approaches. Every session is a reminder that growth goes both ways, we teach, we learn, and we continue to evolve together.

We teamed up with Take Care, South Bend to put together a gift basket — and if you don't know them yet, you need to. They build gift baskets, care packages, and subscription boxes full of local goodies, and they actually care about where those goodies come from. Sustainability, inclusion, social justice — it's not just a tagline for them, it shows in what they do.

We filled ours with stuff from local vendors around the 'Bend, and sent it over to El Campito Child Development Center for their annual Taco Battle. 🌮 If you've never been, go — it's a blast, and it's for a great cause.

Honestly, this is the kind of thing that reminds us why we love doing business here. Local folks taking care of local folks.

We've watched two manufacturers get knocked offline by the same kind of outage on the same kind of morning. One was back to normal production by early afternoon. The other was still figuring out who was supposed to call the internet provider. Same size company, same problem, wildly different day — and it had nothing to do with what either one spent on IT.
