Three days at made one thing clear: AI is changing not only how identity works, but what customers should expect from their identity provider.

Traditional IAM licensing asks enterprises to pay for software upfront—whether it is adopted, used effectively or produces a measurable result.

The customer pays first and hopes the value follows.

Avatier believes the vendor should share that risk.

This week, we introduced Outcome-Based Identity with Avatier Identity Anywhere 2027™—an AI-native, MCP-native platform built around verified Secure Outcomes, not traditional software licenses.

A Secure Outcome is completed identity work that can be proven:

Authentication completed.
An account unlocked.
Access approved.
A lifecycle change completed.
Policy enforced.
The result recorded for audit.

The principle is simple:

No verified Secure Outcome. No charge.

This is not pay-per-transaction IAM. It is proof-before-payment identity—where every charge connects to completed work, the policy governing it, its verification status and an auditable business result.

Identity Anywhere 2027™ also enables governed identity experiences inside Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Codex and whatever comes next—without forcing enterprises to abandon the identity investments they already have.

The future of IAM will not be measured by how many licenses were assigned.

It will be measured by what identity securely accomplished.

Identity should prove its value before you pay for it.

Stop licensing identity. Start buying proof.

Everyone keeps asking why Avatier is at Ai4 - Artificial Intelligence Conferences this week instead of Black Hat.

Fair question. Same week, same city, different conversation.

Black Hat is where the industry talks about getting broken into. That conversation matters and we've been in it for years.

But our news this week isn't about attacks. It's about where identity now has to live.

Your team already works inside AI tools. They're asking those tools to request access, check entitlements, pull reports, provision accounts. That's identity work, happening somewhere your IAM platform was never built to reach.

So we rebuilt for it.

Identity Anywhere has always meant on prem or in the cloud, your choice. As of this week it also means inside the AI tool your team already has open. MCP-native, so it works with Claude, or Copilot, or Codex, or whatever comes next.

Anywhere finally means anywhere.

The people building that future are at Ai4. That's why we're here.

Day 2 at Ai4 in Las Vegas, and the theme of the show is governing AI agents.

Here's what we haven't found yet: anybody with an actual story about an AI agent going rogue.

We keep asking. No takers. Or nobody's admitting it, which is fair enough. "Our AI went off script and touched production" isn't something you volunteer on a show floor.

The fix everyone proposes is more AI: supervisor agents watching the other agents. But if the worry is software acting on its own without a human checking, adding more software acting on its own without a human checking isn't really a fix.

Here's the part we think is actually solvable. An AI agent can't do anything dangerous unless somebody gave it the keys first. An account. Permissions. Access that stuck around after the job was done.

That's not a future problem. That's the same access hygiene we've done for employees for 30 years, applied to software instead of people.

You might not be able to control what an AI decides. You can absolutely control what it's allowed to reach.

Come argue with us at Booth 1053.

Identity management just changed on two fronts at once. 🚀

Today at Ai4 in Las Vegas, we announced Avatier Identity Anywhere 2027™ — an AI-native identity platform built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Two shifts, one launch:

🔧 How identity gets built — your IT teams create and adapt governed identity experiences using the AI tools they already use (Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI Codex). No lengthy professional-services engagements. Every AI request stays under full authentication, authorization, policy, and audit control.

💳 How you pay for it — no more licensing users and modules up front. You pay only for Secure Outcomes: completed, verified, policy-compliant identity actions. Start free, deployment included, backed by a 45-day guarantee.

It works alongside Microsoft, Okta, SailPoint, Saviynt, and ServiceNow — demonstrated value earns the business, not lock-in.

"Stop paying for identity software and start paying for identity Secure Outcomes." — Nelson Cicchitto, Founder & CEO

👉 Invitation-only preview runs Aug 4–6 at Ai4, The Venetian, Booth 1053.

Landing in Vegas Monday for pre-conference training at .

Unpopular opinion: the pre-conference day is where the best conversations happen.

The 12,000 attendees flooding The Venetian starting Tuesday will be in speed-networking mode. Monday — training day + kickoff reception — is where you get 30-minute conversations with the people actually building AI in production.

If you're arriving early and want to talk about:

🤖 How to govern AI agents your CISO doesn't know exist yet

🔐 Non-human identity at enterprise scale

⚡ Cutting IAM deployment from 18 months to 14 days

DM me. Grab me at any of the Monday training breaks or the kickoff reception that evening.

Ai4 hasn't officially opened and Avatier is already onsite. That's the energy.

The future of identity security may not be another factor.

While the industry keeps piling on more devices, apps, biometrics, tokens, recovery methods, and cloud-dependent checks, every new layer can still inherit the same weakness: it needs the infrastructure to be working.

But what happens when the network is down?

When phones are dark?

When identity providers, authentication servers, and recovery systems are unavailable at the exact moment responders need access most?

In air-gapped, offline, and disaster-recovery environments, the simplest verification path may be the one that survives.

A physical Identity Challenge Card does not need a battery, signal, application, camera, or live connection. It is a basic grid on paper—easy to protect, difficult to attack remotely, and available when digital authentication has no way back in.

More factors do not automatically create more resilience.

Sometimes, when everything else fails, hack-free paper prevails.

Your MFA has never been tested offline.

We test failover. We test backups. The one thing we never run is authentication with the network down and every phone dark.

That's the exact condition a serious breach creates.

Every layer of device-based MFA rests on the same foundation. Devices, network, identity provider. Take down the foundation and every layer goes with it, all at once.

Then responders can't prove who they are to the systems they need to fix.

The fix we keep coming back to is a verification path with no dependency left to sever. Deviceless MFA. An Identity Challenge card that works when everything else is down.

The breach isn't the expensive part. The days spent unable to re-establish trusted access are.

Your password may have:

✅ An uppercase letter
✅ A number
✅ A special character
✅ Enough characters

And still be unsafe.

Traditional password rules only check how a password is formatted. They do not always catch common phrases, predictable patterns, reused credentials, or passwords already found in breach data.

That is where a Password Firewall changes the equation.

Avatier Password Firewall evaluates passwords before they become active access—helping organizations block weak and compromised credentials before they reach the directory.

Think your password would survive?

Challenge the firewall with our interactive demo:

For safety, test a sample password rather than one you currently use.

The Hugging Face breach tells you what attackers actually want now.

They didn't go after the models. They went after credentials and internal keys.

I keep noticing this in breach after breach lately. The stolen data is almost the side effect. The access itself is the prize.

Because a leaked key doesn't need to hack anything. It just logs in.

If your security assumes the credential layer holds, that assumption is the exposure. Worth checking how fast you'd know a key was being used against you, and how fast you could kill it.

Abbott is investigating two cyber incidents while extortion claims already make headlines.

We handled one of these a few years back. The extortion note claimed data the attacker never actually touched. Took us nine days to prove that.

The board wanted a statement on day one.

What held up later with the insurer and the auditors was a boring log. Every claim tagged as claimed or confirmed, timestamped, nothing polished.

Whatever Abbott confirms, the record their team keeps this week will end up mattering more than any statement they release.
