The idea of plugging multiple chargers into a computer is scary, but with modern standards, it's virtually always perfectly safe thanks to the Power Delivery protocol.
Power Delivery requires computers and chargers to communicate all relevant information related to power transmission, so the computer can make educated decisions on most effectively and safely receiving and using that power. This includes provisioning for many edge-cases, such as having multiple chargers plugged into a computer at the same time, as well as how to handle potential charging for a device with its own dedicated power source, like a desktop computer.

Curious how to connect your HDMI or other type of monitor that doesn't natively connect to a CalDigit dock? All you need is an adapter.

To connect an HDMI monitor to the dock, you can use either any USB-C to HDMI adapter or an "Active" DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, depending on the port. If you are converting from a dock's DisplayPort, triple check the adapter is "Active" or the connection may not work.

You can use CalDigit's Docks in other regions, even when they have different wall outlet types, without worry of damaging the dock.
Using a travel adapter is always an option, but it's also possible to swap out the included power cable entirely for a localized power cable. Just make sure that the new power cable uses either the C13 or C5 plug type, depending on the dock, to connect to the dock's power supply!
