Computer Support Specialist
Direct Hire, Pay: Pay: $23.00,
CA - Santa Fe Springs
We are in need of a Computer Support Specialist to join our team in the Santa Fe Springs location. This will be Temp-Hire position or Direct Hire.
The pay range for this position is around $16hr. - $23 hr. based on experience.
The working hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
If qualified, the candidates will be invited for a phone screen. I will do my best to respond to you within hours, as we are in need of filling this position asap.

1.Minimum four years college degree in Information Technology preferred, but not required
2.Minimum Experience required: 2 - 5 years' work experience
3.Networking Experience (local area, Wide Area, VPN and Firewall - beginner level)
4.Hardware Experience: Laptops, printers, scanners, landline phones, cellular phones, include smart phones, Mac and PC's and Servers
5.Ability to program, deploy and troubleshoot wireless devices: such as hand-held inventory scanners, Wi-Fi access points and laptops
6.Ability to troubleshoot and repair MS Windows OS and virus/spyware issues.
7.Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux.
8.Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping software
9.Strong Interpersonal, Written & Verbal Skills
Job Summary: Provides technical assistance to computer system users for the entire Talley Organization. Troubleshoot and resolve computer, printer, copier and smart phone problems for clients either in person, or via the telephone. Deploy new computers and phone systems as needed. This person will assist in managing the corporate help desk and will assist users in utilizing company¡¦s ERP system.
Essential Job Functions:
„« Provides technical assistance to the daily performance of computer systems, troubleshoot and repair computer, printers and phones as needed
„« Setup computer systems, peripherals and accessories for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of operating systems, and appropriate software and hardware
„« Support Company¡¦s ERP (Prelude) System, running on Linux
„« Assist in supporting Telephone systems (PBX) and the handsets
„« Configure and support companywide scanners & barcode equipment
„« Maintain and Support shipping departments utilizing UPS, FedEx, PSS and other shipping software and hardware« Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities, using help desk software.
„« Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
„« Assist in developing of training materials and procedures
„« Train users in the proper use of hardware and software, as required
„« Assist in training employees in Prelude ERP system as required
„« Travel may be required
