Your resume has less time than you think.

Every time we post a job, we receive dozens, sometimes hundreds, of applications.

We asked our recruiters:
“What is the first thing you notice on a resume?”

The answers were consistent:
- Relevant experience
- Job titles and professional headlines
- Skills that match the role
- Keywords related to the position
- Overall resume presentation

One recruiter added something that really stood out:
“When a profile only includes a company name and job title without any context or accomplishments, it becomes much harder for recruiters to understand the candidate’s relevant experience.”

And don’t forget, recruiters will almost always scan your LinkedIn profile. A complete profile, professional photo, and detailed experience can make a strong first impression and help reinforce what they’re seeing on your resume.

When recruiters are reviewing a high volume of applications, they’re trying to answer one question:
Is this person qualified for this role?

The easier you make that answer, the better your chances.
