A holiday card that lands on December 23 doesn't say "thinking of you." It says "almost forgot."

For corporate holiday cards, the target is the first two weeks of December, before year-end schedules fill up and offices start emptying out.

Getting there starts with choosing the arrival window, confirming how the cards will be mailed, then setting the production and approval dates that protect it.

And if December slips? A New Year card arriving in early January can feel intentional, not late.

If a guest has to stop and ask where to go, that's where a sign is missing.

Gala signage has three jobs: help guests find their way, support the program and fundraising, and deliver what sponsors were promised.

That doesn't mean every gala needs every sign. A dinner in one ballroom might need very little wayfinding. An evening that moves from a lobby to a reception, an auction and a ballroom needs a lot more.

A restaurant was losing foot traffic after dark. The fix wasn't a new menu. It was a lit A-frame and window graphics.

A contractor's trucks sat unmarked in the neighborhoods where they wanted more work. The fix was vehicle graphics.

Patients kept ending up in the wrong wing of a clinic. The fix was a clear wayfinding system.

A real estate team's listings looked like everyone else's. The fix was branded riders and listing brochures.

A firm was sending the same holiday card as every competitor. The fix was foil, better stock and a cleaned-up mailing list.

Black Friday is November 27. The date your storefront actually has to hit comes much sooner: mid to late October.

That's the order target that leaves room for production, installation and approvals before the rush starts.

A holiday refresh doesn't mean replacing everything. Permanent signs can usually stay put. The pieces that tend to need attention are the temporary ones: window graphics, the A-frame message, sale posters, holiday hours and pickup signs.
