Very proud to be able to finally share about this project. Unveiling this weekend at GoodGuys Nov. 18th in Scottsdale, AZ. The company that brought us the MODENA G.T. SPYDER, as featured in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” is making a comeback. It is a high performance, handbuilt sports car first released in 1986. Motor Trend named it one of the six best “Dream Come True” machines, and it has been recognized by Car and Driver as “State of the Art.” And let me add... it is so choice.

On June 30th 2013, 19 members of the Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew lost their lives protecting fellow Arizonans from the Yarnell Hill Fire. Our hearts are with their families on this solemn day. We will never forget their bravery, heroism, and sacrifice.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Lt. Col. John McCrae

These words were written to honor the lives lost in World War I by Lt. Col. John McCrae as looked over a battle-scarred field of red poppies in the spring of 1915. Today, the poppy is used by military families and communities as a symbol of remembrance.

It’s been more than 100 years since the end of the first World War and these words being penned. Take a moment to remember the fallen soldiers who gave their lives so that we may enjoy the many freedoms we have today.

Being released some time during the first half of this year:
THE WILD THYMES

Mind bending music from 1966 and 1967 featuring members of Goose Creek Symphony, Last Friday’s Fire and Superfine Dandelion.

From the mind of Ritchie Hart (Charlie Gearheart), in late 1967 incubated in the late night hours of spec time at Audio Recorders of Arizona, with engineer Tim Ramsey, and everyone bonding in a "let's try this" frame of mind. With creative inspiration from Mike Condello and Bill Spooner (Warren S. Richardson). This was a short lived “studio creation band,” that rarely played together in clubs, creating these amazing "pop-psyche fuzz garage rock" songs, 10 songs written by Hart and guitarist Bob Knisley and two George Harrison cover songs -- Tax Man and If I Needed Someone.

Hart and Knisley were formerly of Ritchie Hart and The Hartbeats, one of the premier Phoenix combos of the early 1960s. Hart had even had some success in 1959 with a Duane Eddy tribute named "The Great Duane". He went into the military in 1963 and when he returned in 1965, he reunited The Hartbeats. But by 1966, Hart was fronting the faux Brit band Volume IV, then The Present Daze, who morphed into The Wild Thymes.

By 1968, he had recruited Paul Howard, Bob Henke, Ed Black and Mike McFadden and began writing songs for the first Goose Creek album, in a completely different direction for sure, and The Wild Thymes tapes were left to gather dust on a shelf at Audio Recorders. Why this project was not released at the time is a mystery now, considering the high-quality music they laid down. The music is stunning to hear after all these years.

Wild Thymes was Ritchie Hart /guitar and vocals, Bob Knisley / guitar, Richie Metzendorf / bass, Dennis Kenmore / drums; and with Mike Condello / guitar and vocals, Ray Trainer / bass and organ and Steve Forman / percussion.

The liner notes were written by Grammy-nominated music historian Alec Palao.

Ramco Records is honored to make this historic album (and story) available to everyone after all this time, in splendid-all analog, high fidelity MonoPhonic sound and being released on beautiful PURPLE vinyl. This is a LIMITED EDITION and each LP is numbered.

The Wild Thymes will be sold exclusively at In-Groove https://www.theingroove.com
and available NOW on their website for pre-order. Just go to the 'In Groove' website to place your pre-order.
