Please help us welcome two new full-time faculty to Design and Illustration here at Tyler School of Art and Arch.
Shuang Wu (Shuang双🌙), Assistant Professor, works across typography, interaction design, motion, and immersive media. Her practice explores multilingual typography and cross-cultural communication, asking how design carries meaning across language, culture, and technology. She comes to Tyler from Virginia Tech, KCAI, and MICA, and is co-founder of Our Studio (吾设计) in New York and Shanghai.
Courtney Spencer (Dear Fellow Creative Firm), Assistant Professor of Instruction, teaches design and is helping build our new UX major. A Tyler grad herself, she has taught here part time for eight years. She worked on design systems at Anthropologie, was an early hire at Bumble, led global design at ZX Ventures, and founded the design firm Dear Fellow.
