Pride is not only about visibility, but also remembrance. We wish to recognize the full spectrum of our community, including past and present board members who helped shape where we are today.

We also honor those who didn’t have the safety or opportunity to share their identities. Their names and stories may remain unknown to us, but their many contributions continue to strengthen our community

This month, we acknowledge the celebrations of LGBTQ+ Pride 🌈, Caribbean American Heritage 🌴, and Immigrant Heritage 🌍

This is a collaborative space that you can learn from. Our efforts transcend past social media. We aim to partner with individuals, organizations, businesses, sponsors, and others to have a greater impact throughout the year, not just during the month of recognition.

Burnout has become normalized in creative industries. So much so that many designers don’t even recognize it until they hit a breaking point. ❤️‍🩹

Constant deadlines. Endless inspiration loops. Doom scrolling. AI anxiety. Productivity culture. The pressure to always create, improve, and stay relevant adds up.

For Mental Health Awareness Month, we ask our designer friends to take a step back and listen to their bodies and minds, and have honest conversations with themselves about how they're prioritizing creative rest. 😴

This carousel was inspired by insights from Dennis Field’s article, “How I Fight Burnout As A Designer,” which explores the realities of burnout within creative careers and ways to combat it. 🔥 Check out the article here https://www.iamdennisfield.com/post/how-i-fight-burnout-as-a-designer

Designers — what helps you avoid burnout? Let's share some helpful tools and tips for our community to act on.

Think your resume disappears into a black hole after you hit “apply”?

Recruiters in our Beating the ATS session of Next Steps explained what ATS really does and why a human still sees your application.

✅ ATS = an organizational tool, not a robot judging your worth
✅ Your resume does land in recruiters’ inboxes
✅ Smart formatting + clear keywords help you get noticed

You’re not shouting into the void. You just need to understand the system.

Thank you to Jamie-Lynn Simon from and Marlena Battista and Jake Robinson from for taking the time to speak with our community!
