The vision of Waukesha County Technical College Center for Cybersecurity Education is to educate the future cybersecurity workforce and provide consultation to local businesses and institutions. Our objective is to provide a venue for education and research in information assurance, computer network security, digital forensics, cryptography, risk assessment and mitigation, disaster recovery and bu
siness continuity management, security regulations and compliance, and information security management. The cybersecurity skills and concepts taught are produced in conjunction with the IT Cybersecurity Specialist advisory committee that brings together industry professionals who serve on our advisory committees. The job of our IT Cybersecurity Specialist advisory committee is to guide our curriculum and ensure that what we teach in the classroom reflects employer expectations, and as a result, employers consistently hire WCTC graduates who are able to immediately contribute their skills in the workplace.
