It's nice when you do a recovery and get a Google review like this.
"This was my first time requiring a data recovery service, and I was extremely apprehensive as I had nearly 19 years of military photos, videos, old documents that had sentimental value... Just an entire career of data that was on a corrupt hard drive. This is in addition to all the family memories and photos that we all thought were lost due to a hard drive failure. I tried all avenues available to a common consumer, and even had some folks in IT take a look at this hard drive, but it definitely required a professional clean room with accompanying expertise.
To top it off, I had Bitcoin on that same hard drive... A hard drive that I've been holding on to since 2015 when it first failed. My wife had always called it a foolish investment and when I lost access to the coin, oh man did I feel stupid.
Needless to say I was very apprehensive to even mention Bitcoin or a wallet in my initial request for service. I'd only found out about the service via a couple of Reddit posts and a quick review on Google. I didn't know who I was dealing with and didn't want to immediately reveal that Bitcoin was available on the drive. This entire experience was a leap of faith for me.
Not only was Desert Data Recovery timely in every way, they provided thorough reviews of the data they were able to save (which I was able to review thanks to their easy to use zip/html viewer) after each pass of the drive. When I didn't detect any of the Bitcoin data in those reviews, I came clean and let them know that the wallet was also of extreme importance to me. It took a little bit of trust on my part, but less than 4 days later they had a screenshot of my recovered Bitcoin wallet!
Within a few days of making payment, the hard drive was shipped, packaged just as I provided it, and less than 6 hours after receiving the package I had successfully swiped my private keys and had my Bitcoin in hand. My oldest daughter starts college this year, and we now have a sound financial strategy to get her through at least her first year, in addition to the photos we took of her when she started her first day of school.
Thanks to Desert Data Recovery, all this *plus* an apology from my wife came to fruition. I went to sleep a happy man last night!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this experience; this was an absolute perfect resolution to a problem I have been shouldering for over 9 years.
