We want to communicate with you some important tips to prepare for a hurricane. Protect your tech with these 6 tips!
1. Elevate Equipment: Keep computers, monitors, and other electronics off the floor and away from windows.
2. Protect from Water: Move equipment away from areas prone to leaks or flooding.
3. Secure Equipment: Unplug and safely store loose electronics, laptops, and peripherals when possible.
4. Power Down Safely: Follow IT instructions for shutting down equipment if power loss is expected.
5. Take Laptops Home: If approved, take company laptops and necessary equipment home so you can work remotely if needed.
6. Trash Bags for Coverage: Use trash bags to cover imporatant electronics to protect from any major water damage.

Safety comes first. Do not enter the office or retrieve equipment if conditions are unsafe.

We will be closing our office Friday and will assess damage after the storm passes to determine our work schedule next week.
