Dust and dirt slow down your computer and may lead to hardware malfunction. If you have a desktop computer, it needs regular inspection and cleaning. The fan-cooling areas, RAM slots, processor and motherboard are particularly important. Use a compressed air designed for electronic components. Consumers reported losing more than $6.1 billion to fraud in 2021, 80% more than was reported in 2020, according to the FTC. They received fraud reports from more than 2.8 million consumers last year, with the most commonly reported category once again being imposter scams, followed by online shopping scams. Considering that only an estimated 10% - 12 % of victims report being scammed, this number becomes even scarier.

Anyone can be a victim. The best way to combat these is through education. Protect yourself. And share for awareness. If you or someone you know has been a victim of a phone or cyber scam, report it. And if your computer becomes a victim, give us a call. We're here to help. (856) 221-7975

No real business or government agency will ever insist you pay them with a gift card. Anyone who demands to be paid with a gift card is a scammer.

~ If they say they're from a government agency (IRS, Social Security, the Post Office) - they're not. It's a scam.
~ If they say they're from Google, Microsoft, or Apple and there's something wrong with your computer - it's a scam.
~ They say they're a friend or family member in an emergency and ask you to send money right away — but not tell anyone. This is a scam. If you're worried, hang up and call your friend or family member.
~ You've won a prize, but you have to pay a fee first - it's a scam.

Your computer can become infected by unwittingly downloading malware in an attachment in a misleading email, hidden on a USB drive, or by simply visiting an infected website. Once a malicious program is on your computer, criminals can steal your data, encrypt it, or even erase it completely. It's crucial to use antivirus software, keep it updated, and run it regularly to protect your devices.
