Just finished up a project for a company that supplies short term Technical workers. They called on Wednesday Dec 17 and said they were having thcall quality issues intermittently through out the day every day that was driving there employee's crazy, all of there placements are done over the phone.
They told me they were using Comcast Coax and Ring Central. We scheduled an appointment for Thursday the 18th. Told them we would check internet options and see them around 11 a.m..
Once i got up there and checked everything it was determined that it was a issues with Comcast being over subscribed in there building which was causing latency and jitter. During my site survey of the buildings facilities we discovered an ATT fiber cabinet in there floors telecom closet.
The customer signed an order for dedicated Internet on Friday December 19. We managed to get ATT to install the order on Thursday January 8th 2026 and the reseller to install there Fiber gateway on Friday the 9th. This was only 3 weeks from order date to working circuit with both the Christmas and New Years holidays making 2 of the 3 weeks shot weeks.
The customer is only spending $100.00 more a month then Comcast was charging them for best effort coax internet and now there calls are perfect. and more importantly there 40 employee's are happy because they are no longer experiencing issues with calls cutting out.
