Remember, Ownership and property management is concerned with the health and well being of all our tenants! Please continue to follow all preventative measures and guidlines while onsite at Blue Hill Plaza! Masks must be worn. Maintain a 6 ft. distance (about 2 arms length) from other people. Wash your hands with soap often. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Stay home when you are sick. A donation bin is set-up in the lobby of Building One. The final date for the food drop off will be TOMORROW, November 24th.

Artist of the Week!

This week we are highlighting the Realist Painter, Nick Savides. This painting is called "Wall Street, Looking Up." Painted Oil on Linen. Nick lives and paints in Brooklyn. After studying under Paul Georges at Brandeis University, Nick began a career as a Realist painter. He explains his work by saying, "I strive to create paintings that capture a sense of time and place, making that moment eternal." Nick Savides learned to paint from his mother at three years old and hasn’t stopped since. Twice published by Nabi Press, he had a retrospective of his work at the Berkeley College Gallery in 2012, was selected for the cover of the 2015 William & Mary Review, and has recently been published in ArtVoices Art Books’. #

Artist of the Week!

This week we are highlighting ""Buzz of Bees" by Peter Strasser! This magnificent piece is comprised of wood and steel! Peter graduated Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, in 1975 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts with honors in Sculpture. He was a Master Wood Restorer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from 1978-1984. Tim held the position of CEO of Strasser & Associates, Inc., an architectural restoration company from 1990-2011. Tim recieved the Historic Society of Rockland County, Preservation Merit Award for disassembling, moving and reassembling a circa 1840 three storied, hand hewn, timber frame barn and relocating it on his property to use as his personal sculpture studio with only a crew of two other framers. Nice Job Tim! You can find Tim's beautiful sculpture at Blue Hill Plaza!

Artists of the Week!

This week we are highlighting "Facade" by Tim Pearson. This is an oil, graphite painting on a birch plywood canvas. Tim grew up in Easton, PA. and Truro, MA. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA recieving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking in 1995. He then attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA & recieved his Master of Fine Arts in Painting in 2000. He currently lives and works in New York City. Tim is a fellowship recipient by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in 1994 & 1997. You can find this painting on display in the Blue Hill Art and Cultural Center at Blue Hill Plaza!
