Happy International HR Day!

Meet Tasha Marcelo, Lockstep Technology Group's very own Human Resources Business Partner! Tasha is an SHRM certified HR professional that has been in HR for a little over five years.

Tasha started at Lockstep 8 months ago and built the HR department from the ground up. She started as a department of 1 but recently added a new member to the department, doubling the size! Tasha loves interacting with employees and building relationships at Lockstep.

Tasha loves kickboxing, reading, and brunch.

Megan currently works at Lockstep as the HR Coordinator. She began in March with previous experience as an HR intern after graduating from Oglethorpe University with a degree in Business. Megan is looking forward to helping plan company culture events and recruit new talent for Lockstep. In her free time, she enjoys reading, coffee, and has recently run her first half marathon!

Schools are extremely vulnerable to cyber-attacks. With education institutions varying in size and capabilities, the types of attacks can vary significantly too. DDoS attacks are one of the more common attacks schools get. It causes a widespread disruption of a school’s network, which causes delays in a school’s productivity processes. Data theft is another very common attack, which causes sensitive student information and intellectual property to be leaked to attackers. Unfortunately, the lack of resources, budget, and awareness hinders schools from getting the proper cyber security they need. School administrations should push to get these funds boosted. 🔏
