Using arrow keys to move down a web page as you’re reading lengthy news articles on your computer can be slow, distracting and time consuming.

The next time you need to do this, try tapping the spacebar on your keyboard for faster scrolling. It’s a bigger target to tap and your curser will jump to the last line you were able to read at the bottom of your screen allowing you to continue reading the article with less interference.

Want to scroll back up? Just hold down the Shift key while tapping the spacebar and you’ll jump back up to where you started.

DownDetector.com, which monitors online complaints about technology outages, saw a spike in the number of users reporting problems texting and calling starting at about 9:30 a.m. ET.

Many people reported being stuck in SOS mode on their phone, unable to send messages or place calls.

Verizon did not immediately appear to acknowledge any outages on their social media channels, and their network status website was not loading as of 10:30 a.m. A Verizon spokesperson has since confirmed "an issue impacting service for some customers."

"Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue," the spokesperson told FOX Television Stations.

Think Twice When Installing Apps 👇👇👇

If you own a business and would like to gain a better understanding of the security of your network, we’d be happy to set up a detailed Network Audit.

Auditing is the process in which we test all of the physical, technical and administrative components within a technology environment on a network.

Once complete, we will report how well each is working and whether or not change is needed. The findings of this process are critical to the process of designing a strong security policy.

This process is beneficial for any business owner/manager concerned about the security and SAFETY OF their INTERNAL DATA and that of their TRUSTED CUSTOMERS and clients.
