🔔🎄IT'S WEQUETEQUOCK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT'S SANTA RUN EVE! 🎅🏻🏃 The picture has our route, and the following link shows our district boundaryhttps://gis.stonington-ct.gov/WEBDATA/MAP_GALLERY/FIRE_Districts.pdf . We will be departing the fire department with Santa at approximately 9:00 am for the northern part of our district. At approximately 11:00 we will be pausing the run to refuel and resupply. UPDATE: We will be postponing until next week, the 21st. Same schedule and route!

🎄It's that time of year again🔔 Our members will be escorting Santa around the district on Sunday 12/14. He will be departing the Fire Department at 9am following the route below. Follow this post for live updates of where he is! Don't fret if you miss him! He'll be back at the station at 3pm!

Thank you everyone for coming out to the 1st annual Wequetequock Golf Tournament. We sure had a blast today. Big shout out to all of our sponsors, and Pequot Golf Course for hosting us.

Some pictures from our training Monday evening. The camp fire may look a little underwhelming, but it's a part of teaching our new members how to crawl before they walk.

Monday evening's training was a reminder in how physically demanding the job is. Although it was in the lower 60s °F, humidity was approximately 95% while our members were essentially wearing a 30 pound winter coat.

Pictures from today's vehicle extrication training with a couple of friends from the Stonington Borough Fire Department. This is crucial training prior to summer, where we see an increase in traffic related incidents. We can cut you out, but we'd rather not have too. Drive safely this summer. 🌞🚤🏖🚒

Last week the mighty ducks and some of our friends from Quiambaug Volunteer Fire Company took a field trip to the Rhode Island Fire Academy to get back to the basics of firefighting. Heartfelt thanks to our surrounding friends that covered our district while we were training out of district, and big thanks to the Rhode Island Fire Academy for having us!
