What a great commute today. Spent the afternoon in Seaview working with some valued clients. Quick bite to eat at the fantastic Seaview Market. Ride back home had very little traffic.

Looking at this old announcement from 1955 fills me with a deep sense of pride and gratitude. Long before technology became part of our everyday lives, my family was already helping people connect to the world through George’s Radio & Television Store. Seeing the names George Knoedl and Al Chiuchiolo printed on this grand-opening flyer reminds me that what they built wasn’t just a business—it was a piece of our family’s history, created with hard work, courage, and a belief in serving their community.

To think about the dedication it took in those days—fixing televisions, developing photos, selling records, offering service with a handshake—makes me appreciate even more the values that were passed down through the generations. Innovation, loyalty, craftsmanship, and the importance of treating people right… those are the things they stood for. And those are the things I carry with me today.

Being part of this legacy is something I’ll never take for granted. It’s more than a store; it’s a reminder of where we come from and the pride that comes from building something that lasts. I’m honored to be connected to this chapter of our family’s story—and I hope to continue living up to the example they set all those years ago.
