On my desk, I have three monitors, synchronized to form a single desktop. I can drag items from one screen to the next. Once you have that large display area, you'll never go back, because it has a direct impact on productivity.
Look at the big picture. Take a step back and look at your organization from the top down. The picture is clear, you just need to know where to look. Once you find it, then you need to work to fix it and ensure its success. We started our businesses by doing anything it takes to make them successful.
Why not use the same effort to ensure it is a well-oiled machine?
Once you find it, and you put the motions in place, the trickle-down impact it will have will change everything. Your customers will be happy, your employees will look forward to coming to work, productivity, revenue, and profits will increase.
The movie 'Field of Dreams" - Build it and they will come, actually works. If you plant a seed and do not water it, and do not nurture it, it will never grow. If you take care of that seed, it will blossom and everyone will want to come and see it.
"Build it and they will come", takes work, hard work. I dare you all to just try and "Build" your businesses to truly make a difference in the people you serve. Find that passion as to why you started your businesses to begin with. Drive that culture throughout your organizations, and "Build it And they will come" will be your Field of Dreams.
