A MIRACLE!!! My husband was throwing the football in belly deep water with strong waves and his wedding ring fell off. Barbra was on another recovery when it happened and couldn’t make it over but came at 7am the next morning and FOUND IT!!!! We had completely lost hope. It's a shame this even has to be posted. Common Sense!

PSA: DO NOT put paint on a turtle's shell!!!!! Their shells are growing, fused bones that are just as important to them as your skeleton is to your body. Their shells absorb UV from sunlight allowing them to synthesize Vitamin D which allows them to absorb calcium to form strong bones. Paint causes stunted growth & poor health. Chemicals from the paint can be absorbed into the bloodstream through the shell and can taint the water the animal soaks in, being even more directly absorbed into the blood stream. The fumes alone can cause respiratory issues, one of the leading causes of death in turtles and tortoises. And finally, in wild turtles you are making them more visible to predators.
