Denial analysts spend too much time figuring out what went wrong and what to do next.

RCM Agent helps turn denial data into clear, actionable recommendations, from identifying root causes to suggesting the next steps for resolution.

Less time investigating. More time resolving denials.

For the first time, federal rules are requiring health insurers to publicly post their prior authorization and denial data, and a new Kaiser Family Foundation analysis of that data deserves every revenue cycle leader's attention.

The findings show how much denial risk depends on which payer you are dealing with. Medicare Advantage denial rates ranged from 5% to 17 % depending on the insurer. Medicaid managed care ranged from 2% to 23 %. ACA marketplace plans ranged from 3% to 25%

Just as notable: appeal success rates were high, in some cases nearly two out of three appeals succeeded, yet very few denied members or providers actually filed an appeal at all.

We think this data deserves more attention in revenue cycle circles than it has received so far.

Denials teams face critical challenges every day:

🔹 Fragmented data across multiple systems and vendors

🔹 Manual, time-consuming denial review and root-cause analysis

🔹 Slow prioritization and repetitive follow-up workflows

🔹 Limited visibility into trends, payer behavior, and recovery opportunities

Autonomous workflows bring it all together. Centralize data, analysis, triage, and action in one platform, reducing manual intervention and helping teams identify, prioritize, and resolve denials faster.

One platform. Autonomous workflows. Less manual work. Faster denial resolution.

How does an RCM Agent automate the denials management process?

An RCM Agent orchestrates the entire denial workflow, from analysis to resolution, without adding more manual steps for RCM teams.
Instead of moving between systems and manually working through each denial, the Agent can:

• Analyze denials and identify root causes
• Prioritize and triage denials based on impact and next best action
• Recommend the appropriate resolution for each denial
• Generate appeals automatically using the relevant payer policies and claim information
• Route work through a centralized workflow so teams can manage denials in one place, with humans involved where review or judgment is needed

The goal isn't to remove humans from the process. It's to remove the manual work between decisions.

With an RCM Agent, appeals can be generated without human intervention and presented for human review and approval, while the rest of the workflow continues to move through one centralized denial management system.

One Agent. One workflow. From denial analysis to resolution.

This is what autonomous RCM can look like.

Specialty denials management is becoming one of the biggest operational challenges for specialty healthcare organizations.

Cardiology, oncology, infusion, radiology, and orthopedics each face different denial patterns, payer requirements, clinical documentation needs, and authorization workflows. But the underlying problem is often the same: the denial process is fragmented.

Denial teams may be working across EHRs, payer portals, clearinghouses, spreadsheets, remittance files, and separate work queues. That fragmentation makes it harder to identify why a claim was denied, determine what action is needed, gather the right documentation, and submit an effective appeal.

That is where AI powered denials management can make a difference.

Denials360 brings the specialty denials workflow into one connected platform. It can: https://datarovers.com/platform/

→ Capture and process 835 and 837 files, including CARC/RARC codes, denial reasons, and claim details

→ Automatically prioritize and route denials into the appropriate work queues

→ prior authorization denials assessments, appeal preparation, and action plans

→ Use payer policies, clinical notes, and EHR/Epic data to help draft appeal documentation for human review and approval

→ Give revenue cycle teams a more structured view of denial trends, actions, and recovery opportunities

The goal is not simply to automate denials.

It is to connect the entire denial workflow, so specialty RCM teams spend less time moving information between systems and more time resolving the denials that have the greatest financial impact.

For specialty practices and health systems, better denials management can mean higher staff productivity, faster resolution, more consistent appeals, and stronger revenue recovery.

Swipe through to see how a connected AI powered denials workflow can simplify specialty RCM.
