This morning, because of a not yet understood issue, and the request of McCracken EM, Echolink operation has terminated.

Some anommaly was causing the transmitter to lock into transmit mode and not releasing. I will be examing the computer logs to see if there is any evidence of failure and what may have caused it. Operation of Echolink was seemingly "normal" when I looked at it at 9:00 AM.

Future operation of Echolink will be discussed Thursday Evening at the ARES meeting. There is no timeline at this moment for restoring operations.

This Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, ARES will be conducting the quarterly hoospital communications test. We will begin the test on the W4NJA repeater, 147.060 PL179.9, and proceed to other HF and VHF frequencies. All are welcome to check in.
