We’re excited to announce that Synergy has officially been approved and recertified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in Maryland under the updated federal requirements!

Completing this new recertification process took months of preparation, documentation, and dedication from our team, making this accomplishment especially meaningful.

A sincere thank you to the Maryland recertification team for their time and thorough review, and to everyone who supported us along the way.

Now, it’s time for the next chapter.

We’re moving forward with recertifying our DBE status in the other 36 states where we were previously certified.

We’ll be sharing more milestones along the way.

Stay tuned!

🚀 Heading to GIS-T 2026! 🗺️
Synergy Systems & Services, Inc. is thrilled to announce that we will be attending the 2026 GIS for Transportation (GIS-T) Symposium!

State DOTs face unique and complex challenges when it comes to Federal Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) submissions, linear referencing, and spatial data integration. We are heading to GIS-T to connect with state representatives, discuss your specific HPMS pain points, and explore how we can help you streamline your federal reporting.

Representing Synergy at the symposium will be two of the industry’s foremost HPMS and transportation GIS experts:
🔹 Tom Roff, HPMS Advisor As a former lead at the FHWA with over 15 years of experience, Tom is effectively the architect of the modern HPMS. His unparalleled expertise in HPMS modernization (8.0/9.0), ARNOLD implementation, and federal data policy means he knows exactly what the FHWA expects and how states can meet those mandates efficiently.
🔹 Mike Deamer, Chief Operating Officer With over 30 years of IT and GIS experience—including 20+ years dedicated to helping states successfully navigate their HPMS submissions—Mike specializes in translating complex transportation data requirements into robust, enterprise-level spatial databases and integrated GIS solutions.

Whether you are struggling with data conflation, LRS integration, or meeting federal reporting timelines, Tom and Mike have the combined federal and state-level experience to help you solve it.

📅 Will you be at GIS-T 2026? Let’s connect! Drop a comment below or send a direct message to set up some time to chat during the symposium.
