Logo design for Pandora Therapeutics.

Pharmaceuticals are all too often a band-aid for the various ailments to which they are applied. Pandora is different. They do not believe that a person’s DNA should be their destiny. They believe in healing.

My desire for this logo was to communicate that mission in a visually unique manner.

After research and concept work, I decided that a butterfly could be a serious contender for the identity. This was for two reasons.

1) The Butterfly Effect: The idea that small actions can lead to significant end results and outcomes.

2) Butterflies emerge through a process of transformation.

The butterfly was then drawn in a way that resembled wave lengths/frequencies. This was to help promote Pandora’s mission in helping people find the rhythms and harmony of their body in search for healing.
