Avila University continues to bring learning to life through its Student Pitch Competition - an experience designed to help students step forward, share their ideas, and grow in a real-world setting.
After spending the previous week preparing, refining their ideas, and building confidence, eight student teams took the stage to deliver 3-minute pitches followed by live Q&A. Their passion, energy, and preparation stood out - each team delivered thoughtful ideas and presented with a level of confidence and clarity that made a lasting impression. It’s clear these students are already developing into future leaders.
Students also heard brief insights from leaders including Grace Ahn, Dr. Alfredo, and Christina Hocker on topics like social capital and career growth, adding another layer of perspective to the experience.
A huge thank you to Latoya Goree Smith, Grace Ahn, Christina Hocker, Joseph Macklin, and Matthew Mellor for helping guide and support students during last week’s Student Leadership Training.
From preparation to presentation, Avila continues to create an environment where students are encouraged to take risks, build confidence, and pursue what they’re passionate about.
👏 Exciting to see such driven, passionate students stepping into what’s ahead.
