β€œDoubt increases with inaction. Clarity reveals itself in momentum. Growth comes from progress. For all these reasons, BEGIN.” – Brendon Burchard

πŸ€” Are you waiting to get started with a business idea?

You love technology and have the perfect idea for a Mobile App. (πŸ“± There's an App for that!)

You know the market, you know the person who needs this solution!

πŸ€” What's stopping you from taking your vision to help others and getting it in their hands?

πŸ€” What steps can you take today to ACT on your vision?

πŸ“‹ CI has built multiple applications and we have a specific 7 step planning process:

πŸ‘‰ 1. Identify the target user for the app.
πŸ‘‰ 2. Clarify what features would meet the pain/need state of the user.
πŸ‘‰ 3. Pick two to three top features to start building.
πŸ‘‰ 4. Research the market for any similar apps that your specific user already uses.
πŸ‘‰ 5. Identify a key user interface that connects with the users' expectations and delivers the features simply.
πŸ‘‰ 6. Break down the build cycle into three to five steps
πŸ‘‰ 7. Estimate the times for each step and then calculate the overall cost for a prototype.

Our planning process helps to strategically and quickly get a prototype into the hands of our ideal user.

This allows us to capture the feedback and identify new feature requests to continue improving the app.

10 ways NOT to spend your Holiday Weekend

1. Working from home

Your entire staff is working from home, it's been a few months now and you just got off your third remote video meeting of the day. It's finally Thursday afternoon, almost time for a three day weekend!

2. Talking to developers

Your phone starts to vibrate, "Bzzz"πŸ“± new Slack messages from the developers. (I'm sure Bill can handle this, those developers always want some new toy to geek out over, I told them no refactoring for another 30 days!)

3. Troubleshooting the new email server

Then a couple text messages from different people, "Why is my email getting returned, I need these proposals to go out today?" (Sales guys are so high-strung it's a holiday weekend, nobody is going to read that stuff till next week anyway.)

4. Fighting mystery bugs

A direct call from Bill in IT. That's never good πŸ”₯πŸ’»πŸ”₯, what's going on now 🎱?

In a thick Scottish accent, "Capt’n a hae a kinch doon in engineering, ye wilnae hawp this, some kind o' SPAM attack oan th' server."

5. With Bill
6. Setting up another virtual server
7. While your Wife and Kids
8. Wave goodbye
9. And drive down to the lake
10. Again
