Meet Michael Wang, Software Engineer and one of the sharp minds behind Soleran Oro. 💻

Michael may be quiet, but his ideas speak loudly. He’s innovative, incredibly sharp, and an important part of the Development team helping build what’s next at Soleran.

Outside of coding, you’ll find him tending to his plants 🌱 or on the court playing pickleball, badminton, or tennis. 🎾

We’re lucky to have Michael’s creativity, talent, and calm brilliance on Team Soleran. Thanks for everything you bring to the team, Michael!

"20% of workplace deaths, under 5% of the workforce — and the ratio hasn't moved in a decade."

Construction workers make up less than 5% of the U.S. workforce but still account for 1 in 5 workplace deaths, and that ratio hasn't budged in over a decade. A new EHS Today analysis makes an uncomfortable point: most safety programs measure whether a form got filled out, not whether anyone's behavior actually changed. If your safety data can't tell a real hazard conversation from paperwork filled out for its own sake, it's worth asking what you're actually measuring.

Being Construction Appreciation Week, a timely read of the compliance vs safety gap.

The fatality rate for the construction industry has remained steady for over a decade. Changing the numbers will require both change of thinking and operations.
