Our team is growing! Chetan Topre is joining Optimatics from India, as a Senior Optimization Engineer.

Chetan holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, with 12 years of experience in the water sector, specializing in hydraulic network design and modelling for both water distribution and wastewater systems. He previously worked with SUEZ, contributing to the hydraulic design of water distribution networks for several cities across India.

Optimization algorithms have to balance focused search for faster results with broad search to consider many parts of the solution space. As we are constantly aiming to improve the performance of , our development team updated our algorithm to relax the optimization constraints early on in the search process, with focused search later.
