The tropics are SO active! Who knew...Oh, wait, I did... I knew. The good news is several of our partners are getting together a team of seasoned SIMSOL adjusters for storm deployment. For more info. contact Karen Palmer Postava at 407)766-5306. You will receive a call back ASAP, return to a simpler time when estimates were easy to read and Simsol was widely accepted. We must ask the question once again, why the only independent on the market is being systematically differentiated. The main difference: We were born in a flood, fighting the good fight daily. We don't believe in charging for support. We don't arbitrarily tack charges of for no discernable reason. Why is one estimating program so dominant? More information will be posted in the next week to build our exclusive, seasoned team! Simsol Software (Simultaneous Solutions, Inc.)

Hello from Simsol!

We have been very busy getting ready for Storm season. We believe there will be at least one cat (like a bad one) anything else is pretty pale in comparison. Inevitably, when there is a cat, everyone is affected. From the Contracting Industry, to the field adjuster (storm troopers), to the Public Adjusters and attorneys. We need to look closer at pricing and indeed are working on a white paper now to explain how "real time pricing" is not a real concept that can be carried on, but I digress. This storm prediction is based on nothing more than a 40 year hobby with 100% accuracy. Please plan accordingly. We will be here training some new folks, holding down the fort (24/7) and trying to right the wrongs as we have always done. Stay safe, everyone !💙

Hello Friends!!

Well, it's been one heck of a storm season and I for one, learned a lot. Now, I'm not smart enough to be dangerous or anything but I feel like I could punch someone in the face (verbally) if need be! But I digress. All of our flood adjusters know there is a very big convention coming up in Washington, DC beginning Sunday. We are excited to meet many of our Independent Adjusting firms! While Simsol will not be exhibiting this year, Frank Postava (CEO) and myself (Karen Palmer Postava) will be in attendance. We look forward to seeing all of you there and as for the rest of our people, we can't wait to show you all the wonderful things we are planning!! If you see us, make sure to say our catch phrase, 'I Love My Simsol' and you may be eligible to win a prize. All the cool kids are doing it! 😎

Hi friends! Well the time has come upon us for the annual Flood Convention! This event is very well attended and we are looking forward to seeing you all in Washington DC next week! Unfortunately, SIMSOL will not be showing this year, because our projects are all in the planning stages but we'd be happy to show the business as soon as it gets into the announcement stage. Until then just know that we are so excited! See you in DC!!!

Tech Tip of the Week: In Claimswire, you have the ability to upload claims directly to the source. If you are using a different estimating system than Simsol, or just away from your licensed Simsol computer, you can still upload packets to your company. A manual upload to Claimswire refers to this aforementioned process. Read more about this feature on our Support Center: https://bit.ly/3xq0kfu

When it comes to damage caused by natural disasters, like Hurricanes, it's sometimes tricky to identify whether the damage was caused by water or wind. In this previously recorded webinar, our special guest Erik Moore provides insights on how to identify water damage from wind damage from an engineer's perspective.

Having just attended the WIND Symposium, it became clear that those who are perceived as 'a victim's advocate ' are subject to the whims of the main carriers. The point was made to me throughout the conference that the carriers viewed those that stood for the Insured as opponents. This was an extremely unfair characterization and it occurred to me that perhaps we needed to look at the big picture. The following is my observations of a very small fish in a world where smaller companies are usually forced out of business through one method or another. The only way to combat these types of battles is to speak out.

With that, we have some words to say about the recent cancellation of PIRC. Read the thoughts of our COO, Karen Palmer, on this matter of transparency and our industries ability to help insureds. View the open letter on our blog here: https://web.simsol.com/pirc-open-letter/
